Lets start off with "SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION" most often refered to as "seo".
This is positioning yourself high in the major search engines in order to get organic traffic from the search engines such as google and yahoo.
Optimizing your website to get a decnt listing in the search engines is not rocket science or as hard as some might believe.
First the thing you will need to do after deciding on your niche market is " keyword research ".
Keywords are the words that people type into the serch engines to find information.
For example, someone looking for golf equiptment would type in golf equipment.
But you should try to target the key word more and also use what is called a long tail keyword
witch means the the phrase someone might use.
Like lets sat the person is looking for a certain types of clubs like say type of driver,
you would use the brand of driver and the woerd driver in your longtail keyword phrase
You would aslo want to include it in your anchor text and title of your website
(becarfull with includung the name of the brand in the title becuse it could be a copy wright infringement).
Also hight the main keywords on your uite so the search engines spiders can have an easytime finding your main ketywords.
Include a sitemap on your website ,This will help you in your search engine ranking and it also helps people navigate your site.

Whats needed for building a online bussiness
So you want to start a Internet marketing business
. There is a few intangible things you will need to develope first
It is important to have the right mind set in order
to become an a good internet marketer.
Make sure you treat this as a real business.
DO Not try to scam people.
Just trying to bleed money out of people is
the quickest way to have people lose trust in you. It's cheap to get started on the internet
but treat it like you invested gold into it.
You will have to invest some money into your business
but
starting out it does not have to be a great deal money. I am not saying to buy every shinny offer
that you see offered to you in your
email or online but don't be afraid to use your money on
something that offers great value and you will
definately need
for your Internet marketing business.
Try to connect with your customers as much as possible,
do not stay< just a faceless entity behind a comp screen.
Remember it is important to develop a real business
and show that there is a real person behind
it all.
People will spend money with a business IF they
trust YOU! Avoid negativety. People are going to
tell you you can't do it or that you wasting your time with online
marketing. That you're never going to make any money
on the Internet and tell you that you should quit.
You must avoid this at all costs. Allways try to maintain a positive mindset.
I am not talkin the law of attraction here,
I am saying to stay positive simpley
because you run into problems but you cannot let that stop you or make you give up.
Make a plan of action. Choose one business model and follow
it. Jumping from one program to the next won't do
much for you and you will end up spinning your wheels.
Never give up! It might take you a year or two or three
to start making enough money on the net to be able to
quit your day job and go full time
but it will be worth it in the end,just keep your head on the prize!
